Zonet ZEW2500P and openSUSE 10.3 installation help
I have a ZEW2500P and I am having a really hard time setting it up. I downloaded the drivers form the manufacturer only to be riddled with the error insmod file already exists at the end.
So I went to Yast and installed the builtin drivers, ALL of them. On reboot it still does not see my USB dongle. What am I doing wrong shoulnd't Yast just install it without any other intervention from me?
EDIT: Yast Hardware Info shows the adapter under USB, lsdev also shows it. when I go to /lib/modules/ I see all the driver folders there for the entire ralink line, some say xen etc etc I just installed them all because they have no description of what does what. When I go to the -default folder and then to extra the .ko file is there and I insmod rt73.ko and I get it listed in lsmod but iwconfig shows no wireless devices.

Wireless drivers can be tricky, they some times work for only a few Kernel versions.
10.3 is old and no longer a supported release, 11.3 is now out, many wireless cards now have built kernel support.
You could try a recent live CD to see if your card is now supported.

I have 11.2 and it does the same thing, I don't think installing the packages for the adapter are enough I think there is extra steps I need to take that apply to Yast and Suse specifically.
